Community Support for Seniors

In partnership with local organizations, the Hoksan Association launched a community support drive to provide food, winter clothing, and wellness resources to seniors in our community. Thank you to all who donated and volunteered.

This initiative was created to ensure that our elders — many of whom face challenges such as limited mobility, language barriers, and financial constraints — receive the care and attention they deserve. Volunteers distributed care packages filled with nutritious groceries, essential household items, and warm winter coats to help seniors stay healthy and comfortable during the colder months.

In addition to material support, the program also included wellness check-ins and friendly visits. These personal connections provided seniors with companionship and reassurance, reminding them that they are valued members of our community. For many, these visits offered not only practical assistance but also emotional encouragement, strengthening bonds across generations.

The Hoksan Association remains committed to honoring and supporting our elders, whose resilience and contributions continue to inspire us. We extend our deepest gratitude to our community partners, donors, and volunteers for making this initiative possible. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community where no one is left behind.
